I’m from New Orleans, Louisiana and I’ve lived in Houston, Texas for 22 years. I’m a lifelong Educator and former classroom teacher. For the past 15 years, I’ve been an Executive Director at a nonprofit in the heart of Houston. I work with underprivileged children and their families providing educational services and resources. It’s a mission that I care deeply about and is aligned with my purpose in life. To create a better existence, environment, and opportunities for marginalized communities. Children of all ages hold a special place in my heart and God has blessed me abundantly to exact change in the lives of so many families over the years.
A Christian who lives my faith out loud. I believe in living an authentic life and always striving to learn more, being in constant motion toward self-actualization. We’re all a work in progress. Life is gift and we should enjoy each day. I’m a lifelong learner and as my life evolves, I’m motivated to continue learning about wine and sharing with others. We’re on this journey together and teaching others is at the heart of who I am.
Family, Friends, Football and of course WINE. Geaux Tigers on Saturdays and Geaux Saints on Sundays! Papa Russell is responsible for my love of football teaching me as a child all about the game. I cherish watching football games with him. I have a t-shirt that says, “My daddy taught me about Jesus and past interference”! That about sums it up. 😊 I enjoy spending time with family, friends, traveling, sipping wine while always looking for the next great wine find. When I’m not traveling or working you can find me riding endless miles on my Peloton bike or taking a Spenga class at my favorite workout facility.
